Private Intensives

Is scheduling weekly sessions a challenge?
Perhaps you live out of state?
Would you find a group intensive too overwhelming?
Or maybe change comes too slowly in week-to-week counseling?
No matter the challenge you face, we recognize the value in providing extended sessions and private intensives.
Extended Sessions

Regularly attended, extended sessions of 2-3 hours can be a great way to experience extra time for processing and/or accelerate your care. All of our clinicians offer extended sessions when it is a good fit for the client. If you are interested in having extended sessions, please discuss this option with your clinician or let our intake coordinator know you would like to consider this with your counselor as you complete intake. There are some circumstances where extended sessions may not be a good fit, and your counselor will be happy to discuss the pros and cons of this approach for you individually.
Private Intensives

Private intensives can be great for those traveling from out of town, who prefer a private setting to a group, and those with busy schedules. They are scheduled for a set number of sessions, usually 4 consecutive, 6 hour days or 2 sets of 2 consecutive, 6 hour days. The exact number of days and the length of each day will be based on your needs and determined by the Director of Intensives in collaboration with you and your counselor. Private intensives may be scheduled for individuals, families, or couples.

Tim Gross
M.A., LMFT
As an experienced marriage counselor, Tim offers private intensives for couples in a variety of seasons—whether you’re facing crisis or seeking deeper connection. Some couples come feeling stuck, considering divorce, or navigating the pain of infidelity or disconnection rooted in past wounds. Others reach out during high-stress seasons, such as parenting children with special needs, grieving significant losses, or navigating major life transitions. Still others come for enrichment—preparing for the empty nest years, preventing burnout in ministry, or simply wanting to strengthen a healthy marriage and pour into others. Whatever your situation, these intensives provide focused time, space, and support for healing, clarity, and new momentum in your relationship. Tim also offers private intensives for individuals who want to work through relational patterns, personal challenges, or significant life transitions in a concentrated, supportive setting.
