Hi, I'm Christie...

You’re here because you are hurting, and you need to know that I truly see you — that I understand the weight you carry and can help shoulder it with you. I can. My path — shaped by personal experiences, formal training, and over two decades in clinical practice, all grounded in an abiding relationship with Christ— guides the way I work: with compassion, clear clinical insight, and professional depth.

I regularly work with adults facing depression, anxiety, and grief that can feel heavy and unrelenting. My own experience with chronic illness allows me to offer practical, empathic support to others on a similar path. Supporting women through the invisible heartbreak of miscarriage, infertility, and the profound changes of menopause is close to my heart. These are often silent struggles—misunderstood or dismissed by others—yet they shape a woman’s sense of self and belonging. I also accompany adults as they navigate spiritual wounds, questions of faith, and life transitions such as empty nest, caregiving, family conflict, and abortion recovery. My work is to hold space for these tender places, honoring each story and helping you move toward hope and healing.

Rekindling connection between partners is at the heart of my work. If you’re feeling stuck in painful cycles—caught in the same arguments, feeling alone or wounded, or unsure if closeness is possible again—Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) offers us a proven path forward. As an EFT therapist and supervisor, I help partners identify and share the emotions that keep them apart, repair the hurts that block connection, and create new moments of safety and closeness. My role is to guide you as you risk reaching for each other again, so that healing and renewed intimacy can take root.

Restoring bonds within families with adult children is another meaningful part of my work. If your family finds itself weighed down by old hurts or stuck in patterns that keep you apart, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) offers a compassionate, research-backed approach. Together, we’ll gently uncover the attachment wounds and protective cycles that have shaped your relationships, and practice new ways of reaching for each other that can rebuild trust and nurture closeness across generations. My role is to walk with your family as you risk new conversations and create space for lasting healing.
